Carrefour Market Bastogne aims to attract more customers to the store, reward existing customers, and at the same time highlight Bastogne’s rich history. In collaboration with Touch Local Loyalty, a unique historical scrapbook was created that connected the local community with the supermarket.
Together with Carrefour Market Bastogne, we developed a historical scrapbook focusing on the city’s history. In collaboration with the Cercle Historique de Bastogne , we gathered historical photos, stories, and notable locations. The result was a high-quality album featuring no fewer than 174 collectible stickers, allowing residents to discover their own history step by step.
Customers received sticker packs with their groceries and began actively trading stickers after just a few days. The album became a hot topic of conversation throughout the city. A strong sense of engagement with the concept developed not only in the supermarket but also on social media and beyond.

A strong local marketing concept always starts with the story of the area. That’s why, together with the business owner and the historical society, we look for themes that resonate with people and that the local community is proud of. Their knowledge formed the basis for an authentic scrapbook in which residents recognized their own town. We guided the entire process: from concept development and design to production, communication, and the in-store launch.
This creates a local marketing concept that does more than just reward customers. It brings people together, encourages repeat visits, and strengthens the bond between the supermarket and the community.

With a historical scrapbook, you can bring the stories, places, and people of your city or town to life. Customers collect images of local buildings, organizations, businesses, and special events, thereby discovering the history of their own community. It’s a concept that brings together history, a sense of familiarity, and local pride.
